Sony D-88 Portable Discman Walkman CD Player PARTS Untested With Case Vintage

This is a vintage Sony D-88 Portable Discman Walkman CD Player with case. This first-generation model has a parallel port for connectivity and a headphone jack for audio output. The blue and black color combination makes it stand out, and it was manufactured in Japan. This Personal CD Player is part of the Discman product line and includes a few important aspects such as being a Sony brand. It can play CD playable media format mini cd also. Only thing noticed was on the battery cover the little clip that latches was broken unsure how to get that. Closes flush but the battery door doesn’t stay together if carry it without the case since doesn’t latch. Have two batteries untested with no bulge but unsure if they are good internally but look great cosmetically. Takes regular CD and Mini disk. Cosmetically looks in great condition.
