Sony Discman D-25 Portable CD Player. Includes original accessories, documentation and bill of sale. Note the carrying case, Aux/RCA connector-cord, remote-control, battery-charger/AC power-supply, battery, and the very rare spare-battery with rubber travel-cover/insulator. All functions work correctly. Backlit LCD display is perfect. The unit has been unused for many years. It was carefully stored. It is in really nice condition. There is a small crease in the lid that could likely be pressed out. I cant vouch for the batteries; externally they look perfect, but I doubt they are still viable. The leatherette case shows some sun-fade. The D-25 model was amongst the last Discman with an all-metal chassis; production was changing to plastic at that time. It is also an attractive, slim design compared to other portable CD players of the era. This unit looks and feels robust and it has nice controls and switches that contribute to the impression of it being very well-made. For all these reasons, it stands as a classic piece of portable hi-fi history. But please contact me if you want to see a video of it in operation.
