Sony D-10 Discman – With Remote – Restored D-100

Completely restored and re-calibrated Sony D-10 Discman. Includes Sony AC-930A adapter, RM-DM1 + RM-DM1K remote, CPM-100P antivibration plate, Sony 3.5mm to RCA interconnect. D-10 (born 1986) is the younger/slimmer brother to my all-time favorite Sony Discman, D-50 MkII (dob 1985, aka D-7). These are the only two Discmans from Sony with belt-drive CD platter, as in famous C. Discman’s CD mechanism was fully disassembled, cleaned and re-lubed, sintered brass re-soaked with fresh oil. Headphone coupling capacitors upgraded to 200uF Rubycon ZLJ electrolytics. Busted lowpass filter exchanged, AC-930A adapter recapped with Nichcon FineGold smoothing capacitor. Functionally 10/10, cosmetically 8/10 because of a custom-cut decorative triangle around Open button.
