My 3rd installment of my classic Sony CD players sale. The unit generally in very good condition with minor marks near headphone jack, play/pause button and stop button. On the bottom side, the rubber grommet has worn out, but I’m being very picky. 100% working condition, none of the problems associated with laying the CD on incline to get it to play. Please understand this player was made before recordable CD-R and CD-RW. I have experienced that it will struggle to play some CD-R and CD-RW properly. Definitely not compatible with MP3 or WMA files. I have no means to test digital audio output (Toslink). I have no equipment that accepts digital output nor digital cables. Anyway I have always enjoy the unit as a proper portable player via its headphone output. Very tough to find a unit in such condition like this AND functioning properly. Built like a tank, all metal body and under carriage. While D-555 is considered the beast for its brute force and power; D-350 for most controls buttons. This unit outputs the sweetest sounding music while providing practicality as a portable unit i. Accepts normal AA batteries and have comparatively longer playing time. This is considered the last samurai of the Sony’s full metal bodied portable cd player, after this the craftsmanship went down considerably. 3 steps mega bass, resume and hold function. This can be powered from BP-2EX battery (not included) or AC power supply (not included). Unit’s LCD display lights up when connected to AC power. Original Sony leather case, specifically for this model. ALL in clean/presentable condition. Unit serial number have been recorded as 172721. In this top condition, for sure it will be an appreciating investment. Item located in London, UK.
