Sony D-25 / D-250 Discman IOB with RM-DM2 Remote, Refurbed BP-2 + BP-100 Batteries

Up for sale is a working example of the vintage Sony D-25 Discman, one of the best sounding Discman Sony every made. This example is in the original box and includes the AC adapter, RM-DM2 remote, BP-100 battery, one BP-2 Battery, audio-out to RCA cable, and carrying cases for both the Discman and the BP-100 battery. Cosmetically it is in excellent condition with minimal scratches on all sides of the Discman. The BP-100 battery has a lot of scratches on the bottom. The BP-2 battery is in good cosmetic condition. The box itself is in fair condition due to age. The two carrying cases are in good condition. This D-25 recently had the gears lubricated. Unctionally the Discman is working properly when tested with the AC adapter as well as with both BP-100 and BP-2. The back light for the display panel all works (the back light only works when used with AC adapter) and it is able to play and skip tracks with no problem. The RM-DM2 remote was also tested and worked as expected. The BP-100 has been restored using 5 gum stick batteries linked in series to provide 6V and 1450 mAh (this is 45% more capacity than the original lead-acid battery). The BP-2 battery is also refurbished with 3.7V, 1000mAh Lipo battery and is now working. Both B-100 and BP-2 are charged using the AC adapter when attached to the Discman.
