This Is a Sony D-EJ01 Portable Compact Disc Player. Unusual front slot load. Headphones can plug into remote, see photo, or directly into the player with no remote attached. The onboard rechargeable batteries DO NOT WORK. Replacing them is futile, as it is the onboard charging circuit that doesn’t work. This player and remote all function properly when used with the supplied AC Adaptor. I DO NOT have the external AA battery case, for use with alkaline batteries, that came with the player, you will need to get one for portable use. It is all in very nice condition. This is really a nice disc player, solid mechanism, great buffer memory. Has an optical digital output, which makes it more compatible with modern receivers and integrated amps.
