Sony D-350 D-35 Portable CD player Discman Vintage Collectible w Case Rare

Hi and thanks for looking at my item. Today for sale I have this excellent rare Sony D-350 (D-35) Portable CD Discman in fantastic, near-mint condition. This has been sitting around for many years and it feels like time to pass it on to someone who may appreciate it more than me. Over the year the ancillaries have been misplaced, so it only includes the player, hard outer shell and the AA battery compartment. The outer shell has some minor wear and tear as youd expect and has kept the unit itself in excellent condition. Please note that for as long as I can remember this unit has had a problem where it will not read discs properly whilst its lying flat on the table. If you hold it at 45 degrees it plays fine, but stops as soon as you lie it flat again. Id imagine this will be a straightforward fix for a knowledgeable collector but please bear this problem in mind based on other examples Ive tried to capture this in the price. A quick Google suggests this is one of the finest Discmans Sony ever made, recognised for outstanding build and sound quality. It is constructed from metal and feels really solid. This is sure to be an appreciating asset and Id like it to go to a good home. Please see my other items – Im having a clear out and everything is priced to sell.
