VINTAGE MINT NOS Sony Discman D-170AN + Box + Manual + Headphones + Papers. MINT NOS (UNUSED) CONDITION Sony Discman D-170AN + Box + Manual + Stereo Headphones! This Sony D-170AN is a vintage, portable personal CD player, part of the brand’s iconic Discman product line. It was first launched around 1996 and was one of the models that eventually led to the “CD Walkman” branding in the early 2000s. The only point of note is that the top of the box has been subjected to years of dust which has caused some minor damage/discolouration. Type: Portable CD player. Audio Outputs: Features a headphone jack (stereo minijack) and a line output (stereo minijack). Power Requirements: Can be powered via two AA batteries (3V DC), a rechargeable battery pack, an AC power adapter (DC IN 4.5V jack), or a car battery using a specific car mount plate.
