Vintage Sony D-EJ915 CD WALKMAN 20th Anniversary Tested With Accessories

The external battery accessory (for use with AA batteries) works. The gumstick batteries do not hold a charge to my ability. The battery compartment is clean. However, the very tip of the ribbon to pull out the batteries (clear) is gone. The unit is in great cosmetic condition. Please see photos of all sides.
