Completely restored and re-calibrated Sony D-10 Discman. Includes soft case, belt, restored BP-100 battery and also AC-190, the most powerful 9V adapter produced by Sony. D-10 and D-7 are the only two Discmans from Sony with belt-drive CD platter, as in famous C. Discman’s CD mechanism was fully disassembled, cleaned and re-lubed, sintered brass re-soaked with fresh oil. Headphone coupling was upgraded to 200uF Rubycon ZLJ electrolytics. Sony used sticky tape to assemble D-10, and that was very unfortunate: practically all D-10 have missing pieces. One example – as of today practically all D-10/D-100/D-T10 had lost metal triangle over the Open button (see insert). Purely decorative piece, does not affect Discmans functionality, but very annoying for Discman collectors like myself.
