Vintage Sony D-5 Compact Disc Player with EBP-300 Battery Case Works See Descrip. The CD player works! I have found that it does not always work immediately, and possibly the battery-to-player connection needs to be tightened. When it doesnt start right away, it helps to press the battery pack toward the CD player (squeeze them together). Also if there is no cd in the player, when you open it, the top part gets hung up on the bottom part. It opens but not perfectly, you have to give it a little help to get all the way open. There are some scratches and dings along the edges. There is slight corrosion around 2 of the battery contacts. Requires 6 C batteries, not included. Please see photos for evidence of stated quality.
