Absolutely stunning Sony D-555 Discman, this player is in fantastic shape, there are no scratches to either the body of the unit nor to either of the 2 digital screens. All buttons and functions work as they should, the sound from the headphone jack is excellent. But honestly, this player shines best when hooked up through the optical output and pumped through a proper hi-fi setup. This player comes with it’s original leather case and original Sony power supply. This player works as it did when new. That being said, it is pretty particular with having clean and unscratched CDs. Anti-skip technology wasn’t really a thing when this player was manufactured, so don’t expect it to play your scratched up Chumbawumba CD that’s been living under your car seat for 3 years. Give it clean CDs and it might just be one of the nicest sounding CD players ever made!
