Vintage Sony Discman 3 5 CD Player D-88 with Battery Pack BP-2 For Restoration

Offered is a vintage Sony Discman CD player for 3 and 5 discs model D-88, together with its external battery pack. The player is in excellent condition, all hinges and switches good, slight wear only to the underside. The battery adapter included is in clean like-new condition and a Discman battery is present having no signs of abuse though it may not be easy to charge due to its age. When originally powered with a Sony power adapter – no longer available from me – the unit worked fine, but now when powered with a Casio power adapter (as used for an LCD TV) discs spin okay but no audio, the LCD showing low battery. The new remote control listed separately RM-DM1K functions with this Discman. Made in Japan serial no. Collection with cash welcomed by arrangement 07941 647904 from London N1 or N10.
